MQV Office – Public Outreach Manager (m/f/d)

The media and public relations team of the Munich Quantum Valley office, which is based in Munich, is looking to recruit a Public Outreach Manager (m/f/d) in full-time. The position is initially limited until 30 September 2026.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Timely and audience-specific communication of research and development activities for various platforms as well as for the web and social media presences of Munich Quantum Valley
  • Development, organization and implementation of target audience-specific events, exhibitions and international congresses for the general public, start-ups, industry and academia
  • Development of marketing measures
  • Support of editorial processes for annual reports and newsletters
  • Conception and production of flyers, brochures, photo and video material in close coordination with the media designer

What you should bring with you:

  • Relevant experience, if possible, in science communication and quantum sciences, as well as a successfully completed university degree in natural sciences or communication or media sciences
  • Interest in research and motivation to explore the field of science communication for quantum sciences
  • Experience in dealing with social media and with the preparation of relevant content
  • Experience with office packages, the Adobe software suite, and content-management systems, ideally TYPO3
  • Excellent ability to work in a team and willingness to travel on business at home and abroad
  • Organizational skills, high level of self-motivation, and independent working style
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
