Falling Walls Science Summit: Capitalising on Germany’s Quantum Research Excellence

The Falling Walls Science Summit takes place on 6–9 November in Berlin. Munich Quantum Valley contributes to the panel discussion "Capitalising on Germany’s Quantum Research Excellence" on 7 November.

The Falling Walls Science Summit describes itself as the international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral forum for global science leaders. In 2026, it stands under the motto free science for humanity. From 6 to 9 November, more than 2000 science and innovation leaders, research ministers and over 100 international university presidents gather for pressing global debates.

The panel, organized by Quantum Valley Lower Saxony, brings together representatives from Classiq, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Munich Quantum Valley, and QUDORA Technologies. They will explore how scientific excellence can translate into economic impact: from the state of quantum research and Germany’s funding strategy to commercialisation and scale-up. Perspectives from research, government, startups, regional ecosystems and an international industry will highlight opportunities, barriers and what it takes to turn quantum leadership into global value.
