qutools GmbH – Development of innovative teaching tools for quantum technologies (m/f/d)

published since:  application deadline:

Are you excited about quantum physics and want to share this fascination with the world? Then join our team and work on the development of innovative science kits for teaching quantum technologies to various target groups.

We at qutools are excited about quantum physics and we want to share this fascination with the world. The purpose of our activity is to enable the better understanding of quantum physics, on one hand, and advancing technology through this understanding, on the other hand.

During your internship you will help us develop novel approaches to teaching quantum effects to non-physictsts within the national research project Quantum Open Innovation. The task includes the design of introductory experiments with simple hardware, testing the XR environment of our project partners for compatibility with the experiments and eventually transferring the successful introduction into novel experiments for our existing quantum science kits, such as the Quantenkoffer.

Our requirements for you are:

  • to be fascinated about quantum physics (you do not have to be a physics student!);
  • to have experience with teaching/tutoring physics;
  • to have some experience with optics;
  • to have a critical mindset and a friendly way to express criticism.

Your application should contain a CV and a short letter of motivation.
