YOUR MISSION

As Metrology & Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the nanofabrication team involved in optimization and production. Your task is to track all relevant information, improve the achievable performance, and increase yield. Your role includes thin film analytics & requires extensive experience in nanofabrication process technology (EBL, RIE, optical lithography, …). Your feedback will ensure that we can provide a high standard to our customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining, documenting, and continuously improving protocols
• Organize and log sample storage & data
• Support thin film analytics such as XRR, XRD, Ellipsometer .. with guidance and know-how about data acquisition & analysis
• Working hands-on in the cleanroom
• Close the loop between fabrication and characterization
• Maintenance & improvement of different setups

YOUR PROFILE

You are a motivated and experienced physicist or engineer with a passion for quantum technology, opto-electronics, and analysis tools. Your technical expertise, combined with profound knowledge and a strong commitment to collaborative teamwork, enables you to develop innovative solutions. You have a track record working multiple years in the field at an expert level. Your Experiences include:

• PhD or master’s degree in physics, Nanotechnology, or similar
• At least 2 years of industry experience, ideally in quantum technology, the semiconductor, or nanodevices
• Hands-on work in cleanrooms for > 4 years
• With cryostats, thin film analytics & data analysis on expert level
• Conceptualizing, conducting experiments, and able to prioritize
