YOUR MISSION

Our advanced quantum detectors possess the ability to precisely measure the individual particles of light. These photons enable a wide range of applications, such as quantum communication and photonic quantum computing. To retrieve the information from our detectors, high-quality electronics are required to operate the detector, amplify and readout the detector signal. Thus, further improvements will enhance the system performance and usability of our quantum products. In a team of two, you will work on:

  • Cryo-electronics, RF Design & wiring
  • PCBs, amplifiers, passive components and related tasks

YOUR PROFILE

You have

  • Hands-on experience with RF design, electric components, soldering, circuit technology, analog/digital designs
  • Software experience with Eagle, Altium, LTspice and/or relevant RF software
  • Experience with tests using oscilloscopes / VNAs
  • Programming smaller code snippets in C is a plus

Full-time, Location: Garching / in-person

You are

  • An independent & agile mind with a lot of self-initiative
