SHAPING THE QUANTUM REVOLUTION
At Munich Quantum Instruments, we develop scalable photonic quantum sensors that can be applied in breakthrough discoveries and disruptive applications such as optical quantum computers, quantum sensing, deep space optical communication, and quantum communication. Our mission is to make quantum phenomena accessible on an industrial scale, enabling everyone to benefit from the upcoming quantum revolution. We believe that quantum technologies are truly disruptive and will enable novel applications, much like
how the internet revolutionized our daily lives. Join us in improving our technology to the needs of tomorrow’s quantum applications already today!
OUR OFFER
You will benefit from:
- Being part of an exciting deep tech startup, where your work matters
- Shaping the upcoming quantum revolution by optimizing our innovative products
- Hands-on experience in a real Quantum startup
- Mutual respect and a shared mission
- Dynamic & highly motivated team
- Taking on full responsibility from the first day
- An environment where you can grow and develop your skills
- Direct support and agile working conditions, which values good work

YOUR MISSION
Our advanced quantum detectors possess the ability to precisely measure the individual particles of light. These photons enable a wide range of applications, such as quantum communication and photonic quantum computing. To retrieve the information from our detectors, high-quality electronics are required to operate the detector, amplify and readout the detector signal. Thus, further improvements will enhance the system performance and usability of our quantum products. In a team of two, you will work on:
- Cryo-electronics, RF Design & wiring
- PCBs, amplifiers, passive components and related tasks
YOUR PROFILE
You have
- Hands-on experience with RF design, electric components, soldering, circuit technology, analog/digital designs
- Software experience with Eagle, Altium, LTspice and/or relevant RF software
- Experience with tests using oscilloscopes / VNAs
- Programming smaller code snippets in C is a plus
Full-time, Location: Garching / in-person
You are
- An independent & agile mind with a lot of self-initiative
- An excellent worker eager to learn new things
- Highly motivated and committed
