Financial Manager
You own QMunicate's finances as we grow from an early-stage team into a product company: planning, accounting, public grants and investor reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own budgeting, cash-flow and runway planning; maintain the financial model
- Run bookkeeping, payroll and monthly closing with our external tax advisor
- Manage public grants (e.g. BMFTR and EU programmes): budgets, cost tracking, reporting
- Prepare investor and board reporting; support fundraising and due diligence
- Set up procurement, contract and controlling processes for lab equipment and services
Requirements
- Degree in finance, business administration or accounting
- 3+ years in finance or controlling, ideally at a start-up or research-driven company
- Knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and DATEV
- Fluent German and English
- Structured and hands-on; comfortable building processes from scratch
Nice to have
- Experience with publicly funded R&D projects
- Experience at a VC-backed start-up
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling
