Public lecture – „Lasst uns den Quantensprung wagen!“

To kick off our MQV Review Meeting in Eichstätt this year, Prof. Rudolf Gross will give a public evening lecture at Altes Stadttheater Eichstätt on 25 September 2023. The talk will also be streamed live on our YouTube channel.

Groundbreaking advances in quantum science and technologies have opened up fascinating application perspectives ranging from powerful quantum computers to highly sensitive quantum sensors to secure quantum communication systems. Quantum technologies will therefore have a defining impact on the 21st century. It is time for us to take the leap into the new quantum age and specifically exploit the potential of quantum technologies.

On this topic, Prof. Rudolf Gross of the Walther Meissner Institute and the Technical University of Munich, as well as Scientific and Managing Director of MQV, will give an evening lecture in German, intended for the general public, on 25 September 2023 at 7:30 pm. After the lecture, which will last about 45 minutes, there will be time for questions and discussion.

If you would like to attend in person and have the opportunity for direct exchange with scientists, please register on the following page:

The talk will also be available via live stream on our YouTube channel. Details will follow here.
